Kimi Antonelli won the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday, converting pole position into victory at the front of the Formula 1 field.
The official race result for 19 July records Antonelli as the winner, with Charles Leclerc second. Leclerc finished 1.952 seconds behind, making him the closest challenger in the final classification.
Max Verstappen completed the podium in third place, 11.586 seconds behind Antonelli. Lewis Hamilton was fourth, one place outside the podium positions in the Belgian Grand Prix result.
Antonelli had put himself at the head of the grid by taking pole position on Saturday. His race victory followed that qualifying result, completing a weekend in which he led the official order before and after the grand prix.
The result at Spa-Francorchamps placed Antonelli, Leclerc and Verstappen as the top three, with Hamilton next in fourth. The recorded gaps show Leclerc within two seconds of the winner, while Verstappen was more than 11 seconds back in third.
Formula 1’s classification gives the front of the Belgian Grand Prix field as Antonelli first, Leclerc second, Verstappen third and Hamilton fourth. The race therefore ended with Antonelli securing victory at one of the sport’s established Belgian venues after starting from the best position on the grid.
