Nominations for the 2026 All-Star Football Awards have been released with Armagh securing six places on the initial list of candidates.
Galway, who defeated Kerry to claim their first All-Ireland title since 2004, also feature heavily with fourteen players included in the forty-five person longlist.
Leah O'Halloran and captain Kate Geraghty are among the Galway selections which also include sisters Niamh, Olivia and Siobhan Divilly plus forwards Leanne Coen and Eva Noone.
Armagh goalkeeper Brianna Mathers joins county colleagues Emily Druse, Lauren McConville, Blaithin Mackin, Aimee Mackin and Kelly Mallon in the group of six from the Tyrone club.
The Tribeswomen total fourteen nominees which includes two each for Waterford, Kildare and Mayo while a Meath representative completes the field.
Runners-up Kerry have twelve players nominated whereas Dublin and Division One champions Cork each contribute three names to the pool.
In addition to the All-Star shortlist, winners of the 2026 Junior, Intermediate and Senior Players' Player of the Year Awards will be announced alongside the induction into the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Hall of Fame.
Goalkeepers Brianna Mathers from Armagh, Leah O'Halloran from Galway and Mary Ellen Bolger from Kerry are set to feature in the final selection process.

The winners of the prestigious awards are expected to be revealed on Saturday 14 November.
The full roster of forty-five candidates represents a cross section of the current top tier in Ladies Gaelic Football across the province.
