Florence Niyonkuru has won Rwanda's first senior Commonwealth Games medal after taking bronze in the women's 10,000 metres at Glasgow 2026.
The medal came on the track at Scotstoun Stadium, where Niyonkuru finished third in the distance event. Commonwealth Sport reported the result today and identified it as a landmark moment for Rwanda at senior Commonwealth Games level.
