An Iranian cluster bomb struck central Israel, wounding nine people in Bnei Brak. The injured included a 23-year-old man in moderate condition and eight others, among them six children and a woman in her eighties, who sustained light injuries from shrapnel or blast effects.
Other bomblets from the same missile attack landed in Petah Tikva, Givat Shmuel, and Rosh Haayin, causing structural damage but no reported injuries. The Magen David Adom ambulance service confirmed the injuries in Bnei Brak and noted that some people were hurt while fleeing to shelters.
The attack was part of a series of 13 Iranian missile salvos fired on Tuesday, with earlier strikes across Israel wounding at least nine people. Iran responded to Israeli and US strikes on its facilities, including a key explosives production site in Isfahan, by launching attacks on multiple regional targets.
