The blue riband Isle of Man TT Senior race is scheduled to take place on Friday 11 June 2027, marking its return to the traditional Friday slot within the race week programme.
This decision follows a period where the event was moved forward in the schedule, resulting in it being cancelled in 2025 due to inclement weather and red-flagged on the second lap this year.
The final day of the meeting will be observed as a bank holiday on the island, with Saturday providing a contingency opportunity should the race be affected by adverse conditions or delays.
Previous attempts to run the event on the following day proved unsuccessful in light of bad weather, with results taken from positions at the end of lap one of Friday's race and Dean Harrison declared the winner.
Beyond the Senior TT, significant adjustments are being made to the 2027 programme, including the Superbike race moving from Sunday to Saturday on the opening weekend.
The schedule will feature just one Superstock race rather than the two which were staged in recent years, bringing the total number of races to nine instead of ten.
Qualifying sessions are set to run from Monday 31 May to Friday 4 June, retaining the same format and session structure used in 2026.
The revised calendar includes contingency days on Monday 7 June and Thursday 10 June, with racing resuming Tuesday 8 June for the solitary Superstock race and sidecar outing.
