Great Britain's women's quadruple sculls crew finished second in the world championship final in Amsterdam on Saturday, securing silver medals for Hannah Scott and Finnola Stratton alongside Imogen Grant and Lola Anderson.
The Dutch team defeated their rivals by a margin of 1.6 seconds as both crews crossed the line with Great Britain and the United States closing them down in the final stretch.
This result mirrors the outcome from last year's event, where the Netherlands also claimed gold over the British squad.
Great Britain had previously taken the top spot at the World Championships in 2023 before losing out to the Dutch again in the Olympic final in Paris during 2024.
The competition between the two nations has remained intense throughout recent years, with no signs of easing in their rivalry.
With the Los Angeles Olympics scheduled for two years from now, it is expected that the crews will face each other once more on that occasion.
The Dutch held firm as both Great Britain and the United States attempted to overtake them during the concluding hundreds of metres.
