Aimee Kerr was among the scorers as Glentoran Women defeated Lisburn Rangers 7-1 at Crewe Park to preserve their perfect start to the Women's Premiership season.
Both clubs entered the fixture with maximum points, but the visitors established control through Kerry Beattie. The Glentoran forward opened the scoring early and converted a penalty after the interval, with Emily Wilson adding the team's third goal shortly before the hour.
Demi Vance then extended the lead before Ellie-Mae Dickson pulled one back for Lisburn Rangers. Glentoran responded decisively in the closing phase as Kerr, Rachel Rogan and Kascie Weir all found the net, turning an already secure result into a seven-goal display.
Cliftonville Ladies matched that scoreline away to Lisburn Ladies. Caitlin McGuinness scored three, Kirsty McGuinness added two and Louise McDaniel and Victoria Carleton also contributed as the Reds maintained their own flawless league record.
The two Belfast challengers therefore reached five victories from five matches, with Glentoran holding first place on scoring difference. Lisburn Rangers' own unbeaten opening was ended, but their early results had already demonstrated the competitiveness they brought after promotion.
For Kerr, the late goal supplied another contribution within a Glentoran attack carrying threats from several positions. The champions and Cliftonville remain level on points, setting up a title contest in which neither side has yet allowed the other any room to move clear.
